About Barrington Hall
A place to gather.
Where the Berkshires come together for music, milestones and everything in between.
Our story
Two neighbors, one shared idea
Dan Baker and Daniel Latzman both grew up on Long Island, spent more than a decade in New York City and eventually found their way to the Berkshires. It took becoming next-door neighbors in Egremont to discover how closely their lives had run in parallel: born a year apart in the same hospital, raised in the same town, even playing on the same soccer team without ever meeting.
Dan brought years in arts and entertainment. Daniel brought a background in technology and operations. In July 2025 they took over the former Crissey Farm space on Stockbridge Road, a room that had already hosted generations of weddings, proms and community gatherings, and set out to give it a new life.
Both are fathers of young children, and both wanted the same thing for their town: a place where people put their phones away and actually spend time together.
Our mission
To give the Berkshires a room where people can step away from the noise of the world and simply enjoy being together.
We want Barrington Hall to be the first place you think of, whether you’re planning a wedding, raising money for a cause or just looking for something to do on a Tuesday night.
